There are at least three muasal information about the name of Surabaya. The first description, the name was originally Surabaya Churabaya, villages in the cross border river Brantas. It was mentioned in the inscription Trowulan I year 1358 BC. The name is also listed in the Surabaya Pujasastra State Kertagama written MPU Prapanca. In any posts that Surabaya (Surabhaya) listed in pujasastra about cruise travel in the year 1365 made Hayam Wuruk, the King of Majapahit.
